This statement applies to the public website at druptoconsultants.com. It explains our accessibility commitment, what we have done, the limitations we know about, and how to tell us when something gets in your way.
1. Our Commitment and Standard
- We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA.
- Where EU or UK procurement applies, our approach also references EN 301 549 (the European standard for ICT accessibility).
- Accessibility is part of how we design and build — including the sites we deliver to clients.
2. Measures We Take
- Semantic HTML with a logical heading structure and a “skip to main content” path via landmarks.
- Full keyboard operability — navigation, forms, modals and FAQ accordions are all reachable and usable without a mouse, with visible focus indicators.
- Text contrast meeting WCAG AA ratios against our design palette; information is never conveyed by colour alone.
- Meaningful alternative text for informative images; decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- Form fields have programmatic labels, clear error messages and instructions — including our contact and lead forms.
- Responsive layouts tested from 320px upward, and zoom to 200% without loss of content.
- ARIA used only where HTML cannot express the pattern (menus, dialogs, carousels) and always following the first rule of ARIA.
3. Conformance Status
Partially conformant. The website broadly conforms to WCAG 2.1 Level AA, with the limited, documented exceptions in Section 4. We treat new accessibility defects found in production as priority bugs, not backlog items.
4. Known Limitations
- Legacy PDF documents in older case studies may lack tags for screen readers — ask us and we will provide the content in an accessible format.
- Third-party embedded content (for example, externally hosted videos) is only as accessible as the provider makes it; we choose accessible embeds where we have a choice.
- Some historical blog images predate our alt-text policy; we backfill descriptions on request.
If you hit a barrier that is not listed here, please tell us (Section 6) — undocumented issues are treated as bugs.
5. Testing Approach
- Automated checks (axe-core) run against key page templates during releases.
- Manual keyboard-only walkthroughs of navigation, forms, dialogs and the lead-capture flows.
- Spot checks with screen readers (NVDA and VoiceOver) on the homepage, contact flow and articles.
- Contrast audited against our Tailwind design tokens.
6. Feedback and Contact
Found a barrier or need any part of this site in an alternative format? Email contact@druptoconsultants.com with the page URL and what happened. We acknowledge accessibility reports within 3 business days and aim to resolve confirmed issues within 30 days (sooner when a workaround exists). We also welcome praise — it tells us what is working.
7. Formal Compliance Requests
If you need a formal accessibility conformance statement for procurement (for example, an EN 301 549 or VPAT-style document), email us with your requirements and we will provide the appropriate documentation, typically within 10 business days.
